Orthopedic Examination and Joint Mobilization of the Hip
Tracking # 20-796472
Course overview
Evaluating the hip can be a challenge. Clinicians must be able to identify the most appropriate tests based on the patient's presentation. Once the diagnosis is determined, it is important to restore proper arthrokinematics by using the most suitable joint mobilization technique. This module provides physical therapists with an overview of the hip anatomy and guidelines for differential diagnosis. Evaluation techniques and special tests to support a diagnosis of hip impingement, labrum pathology, and soft tissue disorders are presented. Learners will gain an understanding of current treatment guidelines, including joint and soft tissue mobilization.
