Learner Objectives As a result of having attended the meeting, the participants should have had the opportunity to 1. To understand the cause of hyperoxia induced lung injury. 2. To explain the pathogenesis, pathology and clinical manifestation of hyperoxia induced lung injury. 3. To evaluate gross and fine manual dexterity during cold water immersion as a function of time and skin temperature. 4. To determine if whole-body active heating with warm water perfusion is able to attenuate the reduction in hand and finger skin temperature and preserve dexterity.
