Course overview

Aging is associated with numerous physiological changes which can influence respiratory therapy treatment and, ultimately, your patients self-management of their respiratory conditions. In this module, respiratory therapists will learn the impacts of aging on treatment and how to modify interventions to maximize success. The goal of this course is to provide respiratory therapists in post-acute care settings with modifications of treatments to accommodate age-associated changes.
