Course overview

PURPOSE Purpose of this course is to review Feeding Tube Management, Orogastric, Nasogastric, G-Tube care, caring for patients; Infants, children and the Adults, providing tube (enteral) feedings, inserting nasogastric tube, inserting orogastric tube, checking tube placement, aspirating stomach content, checking for residual, discontinuing the feeding and removing feeding tube. Approved for all nurses; LPN, RN, ARNP, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Medical Assistants, and for those who want to refresh or have been out of clinical practice for a period of time and want to revise and refresh your skills, you are also welcomed to take this course.
