Course overview

This course reviews the new science, assessments and evidence-based interventions for auditory processing disorders, dyslexia and childhood apraxia of speech. The course begins with a review of current neuroscience research on the underlying causes of APD, dyslexia and CAS. Several new neuroimaging studies will be highlighted including recent dyslexia research from the Shaywitz team at Yale and research on Prompt for CAS. The course then reviews available assessment tools and evidence-based interventions.
