In a voice assessment, both subjective and objective measures should be captured for a comprehensive view of the client's voice problem. These measures may be captured by pen and paper or with a computer. This course will explore: 1-perceptual, acoustic, aerodynamic, and movement voice measures, and 2-free low and high tech Internet resources that can be used to collect the measures in both children and adults. The content of this course is for all speech-language pathologists in private practice, schools, and medical settings. Information from this course can be applied to Current Procedural Terminology codes for Behavioral and Qualitative Assessment of Voice and acoustic and aerodynamic analysis during Laryngeal Function Studies.
