This training will provide a foundational knowledge of trauma-informed care and the cognitive-behavioral theoretical orientation. Participants will learn how traumatic experiences lead to symptoms and disorders, and how to adopt trauma informed care practices. Participants will also learn about the different components of cognitive behavioral therapy, common interventions, and how to integrate trauma informed care into cognitive behavioral treatment. Training Objectives: Identify types of trauma, related diagnoses, and symptoms Identify components of CBT model Describe three CBT interventions Describe how to utilize CBT and TIC in interactions with patients
