Cranial-Sacral will provide the therapist with a pair of protocols that allow for the mechanical release of the cranial base (cranial) and the sacrum complex (Sacral). Students will learn a series of techniques that allow clients to relax into a gentle decompression of the upper neck and cranium. Each cranial base step can be completed independently or in a series for a wide range of issues such as headaches, stress, anxiety, sleep issues, and so much more. The class builds on the concept of a reciprocal tension mechanism that connects the cranium to the sacrum. The sacral region will be addressed with a simple protocol that facilitates tools designed to address the pelvis and iliopsoas in a non-invasive format. This proven approach helps sciatica, piriformis syndrome, and most cases of low back pain. (Tools will be provided) Students will learn the benefits and impact of engaging the reciprocal tension mechanism as it applies to the upper and lower ends of the spine but also connected structures and tissues. This class is designed to help therapists work smarter NOT harder.
