Course overview

This course outlines how to implement AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) in the telepractice setting. The course will cover issues related to the research supporting telepractice for AAC, identifying appropriate models of intervention and assessment for AAC telepractice, and discuss potential solutions for implementing AAC online. This course is suited to SLPs who have some experience with telepractice or have taken the beginner telepractice courses through Northern Speech Services. It includes a video of AAC modeling and many implementation suggestions that SLPs can immediately apply in their practice.
