Reducing stress and anxiety in the veterinary setting for both canine and feline patients have become a hot topic in veterinary medicine. This lecture presented by Morgan McCann, CVT, VTS (anesthesia) we will discuss various oral sedation protocols that owners can administer at home prior to their arrival at the veterinary clinic for procedures or surgery. These protocols for the anxious, nervous or fractious patients can ultimately reduce MAC and improve healing and recovery from general anesthesia.
