Course overview
This recorded videoconference on advanced NSCLC for pathologists and laboratory professionals will consist of a 20-minute didactic presentation by a subject matter expert on key actionable driver mutations in patients with advanced NSCLC. In the remaining 40 minutes, two participants will present and share real-world cases and challenges from their institutions and seek feedback from participants and subject matter experts. The session will provide knowledge and best practices related to key actionable driver mutations in patients with advanced NSCLC and guidance on real-life challenges they may face in their institutions. The videoconferences in this series utilize the Project ECHO approach, leveraging technology to provide access to scarce resources, help participants master complex topics through case-based learning, facilitate peer-to-peer sharing of best practices to improve knowledge and outcomes, reduce peer isolation, and foster professional development. The activity offers 1.0 CME/CMLE credit. The American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians.
