Course overview

Hamstring injury is a common condition in athletes of all ages. This course will prepare you to master the assessment through returning the athlete to competition. The program begins with an in-depth review of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics. Next, you will analyze overuse versus traumatic injuries. The program progresses to thoroughly review the clinical evaluation of sports injuries to the hamstring including examination and imaging findings. Next, the program examines appropriate differential diagnosis prior to progressing to the application of office-based treatment options. Finally, you will master patient education tools to instruct in proper recovery and future injury prevention. The program discusses numerous applications of conservative management to the care of the injured athlete. With this program you will expand your chiropractic toolbox while earning chiropractic relicensing credits.
