Course overview

Laser Acupuncture (LA) utilizes photon energy to stimulate traditional acupuncture points. Wavelengths used in LA vary from visible blue through red and near infrared with varying power and frequency. This seminar reviews how a laser diode functions, wavelengths, power and frequencies commonly used in LA, mechanism of action, clinical applications and safety considerations including contraindications and precautions.
