Palmistry: Case Analysis

Course overview

Medical Palmistry as a diagnostic tool for medicine had been abandoned until the last 30 years where a renewed interest has sparked a resurgence in research and study. Palmistry was to the ancient physician what the stethoscope and microscope are to the modern physician. Palmistry provides an immediate snapshot of the subject's "internal reality" that is easily accessed by the lines and shapes of the hand. Case Studies will be the focus of this class. We will examine a variety of hands in depth and expand our understanding of palmistry. Lines, shapes, and finger print patterns provide a comprehensive behavioral study of a subject.
