Course overview

The focus of this three-hour CE program is how the various aspects of psychology practice in Florida are shaped by Florida statutes, Florida Administrative Code, and the Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct of the American Psychological Association. Topics include, but are not limited to, understanding similarities of and distinctions between privacy, confidentiality, and privilege; various exceptions to confidentiality and privilege; record-keeping requirements; legal and ethical issues in telepsychology practice, and the make-up and operation of the Florida Board of Psychology.
