**** This course meets the Florida Board of Nursing requirements for HIV course **** Nearly 40 years after HIV first began in the gay community, and was a presumed death sentence, it is now more akin to a chronic disease that affects regardless of gender, sexual orientation, age, or socioeconomic status. This course brings you up to date with what is known about HIV, AIDS and prevention, diagnosis, pathophysiology, treatment and outcomes.
