The Obesity Crisis: Bariatric Rehabilitation and Management for Optimal Outcomes addresses obesity in adults and children. In this course, clinicians are instructed on the basics of nutrition and the physiology of digestion and metabolism. The incidence and symptoms of DM II, HTN, heart disease, sleep apnea, and stroke with obesity are expounded upon and treatment measures are identified. Clinicians will gain knowledge of links between obesity and the occurrence of gallstones, cancers, and female reproductive health issues and then move on to utilization of strategies for improving outcomes and strategies for resistance training in obese patients.
