In this course, your learning will focus on basic abdominal surgical procedures with strong emphasis upon gastrointestinal procedures commonly performed in a general practice setting. You will learn basic principles of biopsy collection, enteromy, gastrotomy, intestinal resection & anastomosis, omental / serosal patching, enteroplication and esophago-gastro-enteric tube placement.
