Each year, almost 1 million spinal procedures are performed in the United States. Rehabilitation therapists play a key role in evaluating and progressing a patient through their recovery, as well as ensuring a patient sets their expectations about their progression and understands their spinal precautions. This course reviews the most common spinal surgical procedures and uses case studies to model precautions, considerations, interventions, expected progression, and outcomes for each.
