Course overview

Help clients reflect on current and desired holistic wellness and effectively set wellness goals in support of mental health and overall wellbeing! The Dimensions of Wellness models help lay a framework for what contributes to holistic wellness. Exploring holistic wellness and helping clients set effective goals around ways to improve their wellbeing can help clients feel empowered to take control of various aspects of their wellness which may be affecting their mental health. In this program, the concept of wellness will be explored, wellness models will be detailed, and an example of how wellness models can be adapted for use in therapy will be shown. Links to additional ready-to-use wellness resources will also be offered. | PROGRAM PURPOSE: The overall purpose of this program is to help program participants: (1) Understand the Dimensions of Wellness and their components, (2) identify a variety of healthy coping skills and life skills which fall within the Dimensions of Wellness, and which can be used to manage stress, reduce mental health symptoms, and improve overall wellness, and (3) Explore ways to engage clients in reflection of current vs. desired wellness and guide clients with the development of SMART goals to support their wellness efforts.

Criteria for Obtaining CE Certificate: Participants must personally attend/participate in the CE course or program in its entirety. A satisfactory score of 80% of higher on a post-test and/or an attestation form must be completed at the conclusion of the program in order to receive your CE Certificate. CE certificates will not be available/provided to participants who did not participate in nor successfully pass the post-test. Visit the website below for additional terms and conditions.
