Learner Objectives: As a result of having attended the meeting, the participants should have had the opportunity to: State the importance of middle ear barotrauma as a cause of hyperbaric oxygen therapy disruption. List the symptoms of middle ear barotrauma. Describe limitations of available middle ear barotrauma prevention measures. Understand the pathophysiology of dihydrogen sulfide toxic gas exposure. Understand possible treatment modalities to H2S toxicity. Subject Matter: RESEARCH ARTICLE Prevention of middle ear barotrauma with oxymetazoline/fluticasone treatment CLINICAL CASE REPORT Novel treatment of dihydrogen sulfide inhalation using hyperbaric oxygen during mass casualty Teaching Methods: Journal Reading Examination of material Evaluation of activity. Evaluation Methods: Evaluation is offered through the online educational portal with 3 graded questions each UHM Journal paper and an overall evaluation at completion of the Journal-based activity.
