Course overview
Human immunodeficiency virus, or HIV, is a virus that, if left untreated, can lead to Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome, or AIDS. Currently, there is no cure for HIV or AIDS but there are treatment options available. This course discusses the modes of transmission and risk factors for HIV. It also discusses prevention methods, testing modalities, and reporting requirements.
