Participants will be able to define dreams from three perspectives, will be able to list and explain seven theoretical concepts supporting a psychoanalytic approach to dream work, will be able to list and explain Freuds steps for understanding a dream, will be able to list gains attributed to dream work, will be able to cite examples of contemporary dream research, will be able to list a variety of tips for beginners derived from Freuds classic, The Interpretation of Dreams, and will be able to describe ethical considerations essential to dream work.
