Course overview
Wound management interventions include more than dressings. This course will review four advanced wound treatments to promote effective management of acute or chronic wounds. These interventions are skin substitutes, hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), modalities typically performed by physical therapists such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, and off-loading techniques for the neuropathic wound.
