Course overview

Pregnancy can benefit greatly from massage and bodywork when provided by a therapist who is specifically trained to work with a mother's unique needs. This course will allow you gain a better understanding of the unique considerations related to working with these clients. You will learn the benefits of prenatal massage and gain the knowledge for when to give a prenatal massage and when to have your client consult their physician. You will also learn different draping techniques to use during a prenatal massage so your client feels comfortable during their treatment, product safety and points to avoid while giving a prenatal massage.
