Course overview
As a healthcare professional, you need to have a clear understanding of ethical principles and the way your personal values may impact the individuals and families in your care. In this course, you will learn about fundamental ethical concepts, common ethical dilemmas that arise in palliative care, and ways to apply this foundational knowledge to prevent ethical dilemmas and preserve patient autonomy. The goal of this course is to equip behavioral health counseling, nursing, and social work professionals in hospice and palliative care with ethics training.
