Course overview
The Intimate Partner Violence (IPV): SANE Requirement course includes 5 contact hours needed for license renewal. This online course fulfills the SANE requirement for KY RNs by describing the current definition of IPV, which includes violence between same-sex partners. Healthcare providers will learn to identify the warning signs of IPV, evidence-based assessment, and treatment strategies including specialized health and legal resources for individuals in abusive relationships.
