Course overview

When participants complete this course, they will be able to explain why poor documentation is a major factor in many failure to diagnose and other malpractice claims; list the elements of the LAWSUIT documentation model, and ex-plain why each is important; list billing practices that will likely lead to problems with Medicare/Medicaid as well as private insurers; and explain documentation techniques and how they affect patient care and physician liability.
