With this program you will learn the most clinically important aspects of how the brain works AND the best ways to apply this to your adjusting technique. Our time will be fast paced, interactive and all information actionable in your clinic. You'll see video of how Dr. Powell applies these techniques with his patients and you will get hands-on experience so your patients can benefit on Monday. In this course, you will learn the neurology of the Cervical and Upper Extremity areas. We will show you how these areas are common areas of complaint for new patients and how to help them. We will also show you how to find the problem in the spine through Ortho and Neuro testing, strategies to plan for rehab and how best to get a good result for your patient. We also address situations when referring out may be necessary. The Tennessee Board of Chiropractic Examiners requires all newly-licensed Tennessee chiropractors to complete a one-time six (6) hour board-approved course in risk management, sexual/professional boundaries, and Tennessee statutory and regulatory chiropractic jurisprudence. This course is designed to help the newly-licensed chiropractor more clearly understand all issues surrounding the profession of chiropractic in Tennessee. The Tennessee Board of Chiropractic Examiners requires all newly-licensed Tennessee Chiropractic Therapy Assistants (CTAs) and Chiropractic X-Ray Technologists (CXTs) to complete a one-time, two (2) hour board-approved course in risk management, sexual/professional boundaries, and jurisprudence. This course is designed to help newly-licensed and established CTAs and CXTs define all issues surrounding those boundaries.
