Course overview

The healthcare provider will learn the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of resident's information. To improve the delivery of the health care systems it is important for the health care professional to maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). This course provides the healthcare professional with the laws and how to apply those standards of HIPPA.
