Course overview
Communicating with patients by email has become a part of many physician's medical practice. It ranks high in patient satisfaction, and at least one study found it to be associated with better patient compliance and better control of chronic conditions. This short monograph will give busy practitioners a thumbnail sketch of available guidelines, identify the most glaring issues, and point the learner to additional resources on the subject.
