PRE-REQUISITE: MT-2: Essential Spinal Seminar. OPEN to PTs, MDs, DOs and DCs only. This is an Intermediate level 3-day course that will provide the clinician with the skills needed to recognize, evaluate and treat common clinical conditions of the upper cervical spine and related upper cervical dysfunction including: cervicogenic headaches and dizziness, concussions, Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo [or BPV] and Temporo-mandibular joint disorders [TMD.] . The assessment and treatment approach in MT-UC will utilize thorough clinical assessment and clinical decision making, including Cervical Arterial Dysfunction screening framework. Current literature will be presented and discussed. THIS IS A LIVE, IN-PERSON COURSE: 20.7 hours (1,242 minutes), equivalent to 24.8 CEH hours, INCLUDING a 75% HANDS-ON Laboratory. FOR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION, MUST ALSO TAKE MT-UC: Upper Cervical Dysfunction Seminar - HOME STUDY, which is a FREE Home Study component of the course (8.7 hours=522 minutes), and equivalent to 10.4 CEH hours.
