This module will provide nurses with information about the identification, pathophysiology, treatment, and nursing management of women with sexual dysfunction. After studying the information presented here, you will be able to: describe the incidence of female sexual dysfunction in the United States, identify the pharmacologic management of women with sexual dysfunction, and identify the nonpharmacologic management of women with sexual dysfunction.
