Course overview

A drug test is an analysis of a biological sample used to determine the presence of specific substances. Drug testing is done pre-employment, randomly by employers, after an accident on the job, during probation, by the police, in the prison system, in recovery programs, in hospitals, and by parents. This course will explore the types of drug tests, what each screen for, the collection procedure, and the need for consent.
