THIS ARTICLE DESCRIBES THE GLOBAL EPIDEMIOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS AFFECTING OBESITY IN ADULTS AND REVIEWS ITS IMPACT ON PATIENTS WITH THIS CONDITION.
