HIV Testing Guidelines (Part 1 of 2)

Course overview
Recent guidelines by the CDC and USPSTF call for expanded routine HIV testing. Studies have shown that one of the barriers to HIV testing is physicians' misunderstandings of the testing process and testing guidelines. To improve physician understanding of HIV testing, part I of this course will discuss the time course of HIV infection, how it relates to various HIV tests, and the testing guidelines.
