Course overview
To improve physician understanding of HIV testing, part 1 of this course addressed the time course of HIV infection, how it relates to HIV testing windows, and the testing guidelines. Part 2 of this course addresses the science of HIV tests, specifically the types of tests, how each type works, and the accuracies of the tests. With this information, physicians will be better informed and equipped to educate patients about HIV tests.
