Course overview

3-Core Integrative (3CI) offers extensive theory, research, and evidence surrounding the three cores of integrative care- Mindfulness, Movement, and Nutrition- in relation to mental health and overall wellbeing. The purpose of 3CI is to educate clinicians on how to ethically and practically work these components into clinical practice while understanding and addressing barriers clients may face. This course is a launching point for licensed mental health professionals to learn about inclusive, integrative modalities using a model that is evidence-based and tested. Mindfulness, Movement, and Nutrition are the three most research-backed components of integrative care when it comes to mental health. However, integrative or alternative practices are often seen as "less scientific" in the Western world, leading to limited integration of these components into traditional mental health care; by utilizing over 150 peer-reviewed references surrounding these topics, 3CI gives clinicians the confidence in these components as well as real-world tools to incorporate integrative mental health care into your clinical practice. This course goes much farther than general integrative knowledge by using a Social and Environmental Lens in every module to acknowledge and address the impact that often-overlooked factors have on clients' lives and health and on their ability to access these integrative tools and resources. In order to provide licensed mental health professionals with culturally competent and inclusive mental health education, 3CI discusses factors of chronic stress such as pollution, racism, poverty, etc. and includes information and resources on how to make integrative practices more accessible. Learn how to ethically, practically, and within scope of practice work these components into clinical practice while understanding and addressing the barriers clients may face. By using various forms of instruction- video, ebook, audio, guided practices, etc.- 3CI strives to accommodate all learning styles and includes a follow-along workbook to promote full comprehension of the subject matter and active learning. With 150+ references as the foundation, as well as numerous downloadable worksheets, handouts, and practices for both client and clinician, 3-Core Integrative gives a thorough and reliable review of integrative mental health in clinical practice.
