COURSE DESCRIPTION This Continuing Education course will provide the healthcare provider and the assisted living facilities with two contact hours of continuing education that may be used for license requirements for their continuing education. This course will cover such issues as the history and epidemiology of the Disaster Preparedness Training Critical for Public Health Nurses. The classical needs for a disaster program and the current trends in assessment organization and treatment modalities will be addressed. Community issues and prevention methods are also discussed.
