Course overview

The course provides 1.5 hours of continuing education for professionals, incorporating media-based video lectures and lesson tests in curricular modules. The course includes learning about the four types of difficult people: dominant-controlling, analytical-obsessive, expressive-impulsive, and skeptical-negative. The course covers techniques for dealing with difficult people, managing emotions, managing difficult people, becoming self-aware, and practicing self-management. The course addresses how to tune into the emotions of difficult people on a team, how to build emotional intelligence to increase collaboration productivity. The course covers strategies for managing difficult people by redirecting behavior toward work goals, ways of working effectively with negative people by giving appropriate feedback, and productive collaboration with difficult people through professional conflict management.
