Course overview

While previous studies have focused on several aspects of the lives of transgender people, there is a gap of research regarding the risk of substance use in people who identify as transgender. This research is a meta-analytic study that focuses on the prevalence of substance use and substance use disorder in transgender and cisgender (non-transgender) people.
