Cornerstones 6: Tools and Principles of Instructional Design

Course overview

Without precise and well-written learning objectives and outcomes, it is nearly impossible to get a learner from Point A to Point B. Learners need to know what instructors want from them; objectives and outcomes help do that. They also inform how instructors design learning experiences within lesson plans and are the basis for writing rubrics so that instructors can assess their students objectively and consistently.
