The inclusion of PT and OT services is a vast and widely reported unmet need of patients recovering from cancer. The value of these services for the patient with cancer needs to be recognized and more frequently utilized. PT and OT professionals should be part of the patient's care team from the beginning of diagnosis to maintain, improve, and prevent loss of function and return that patient to their maximum level of function. This course addresses the unmet need of PT and OT in cancer rehabilitation and discusses specific interventions for different types of cancer.
