Course overview

HIPAA requires every practice have an active security management plan. On January 5, 2021, HR7898 the HIPAA Safe Harbor rule was signed into law. The catch, a practice must demonstrate that a security management plan that is consistent recognized security practices has been created and in place for the past 12 months. This workshop explains step by step how to create and implement such a program.
