Cornerstones 19: Teaching Career Development -Igniting a Vision of the Future

Course overview

Surveys have shown that massage therapists believe they did not receive adequate education in building and running a business, preparing to become an employee, or marketing themselves for success. This course, the 19th in Cornerstones: The ABMP Instructor Development Program, uses the ELAP blueprint to teach instructors how to incorporate these essential career development skills and knowledge into their curriculum in an informative and engaging way. Using the key components of instructional design, which have been taught throughout the entirety of this Cornerstones program, educators can more effectively prepare students for the road ahead using these tools.
