FORTUNATELY, DUE TO IMPROVED DENTAL HYGIENE, MODERN DENTISTRY, AND ANTIBIOTICS, DENTAL INFECTIONS ARE RARELY LIFE-THREATENING TODAY. THIS ACTIVITY REVIEWS THE EVALUATION AND MANAGEMENT OF DENTAL INFECTIONS AND HIGHLIGHTS THE ROLE OF THE INTERPROFESSIONAL TEAM IN MANAGING AFFECTED PATIENTS.
