This article provides an overview of Human Trafficking. It briefly discusses agencies and laws designed to protect victims of human trafficking while also presenting statistics regarding prevalence and cost of trafficking. The authors discuss labor vs sex trafficking and also share red flags that a person is a victim of human trafficking. Protocols for intervening to help a victim are outlined as well as the ways that a trafficker attempts to control and recruit their victims.
