This course is designed to examine patient's rights and the legal issues that are pertinent to older adults as they face illness and end-of-life decisions about autonomy, informed consent, advance directives, and money management. The purpose of this course is to provide older adult care givers insights and important information to help patients understand their rights and make decisions that will protect against malpractice.
