Course overview

Description: This course provides students with guidelines for ethical treatment of facial acupuncture patients. Topics covered will be: ethical communication, ethics of touch, contractual ethics and documentation. Students will learn how to speak with patients regarding the aging process, their skin and their options for treatment in a respectful and ethical manner. Students will learn how to describe possible treatment outcomes to patients and ways to document facial and cosmetic acupuncture treatments. The code of ethics will be discussed and reviewed in class. Class is taught by Michelle Gellis, AP and will fulfill 2 CEUs of ethics requirement.
