It's Time to Talk About Sex: Working with Sexuality Concerns as a Generalist

Course overview

This presentation will help generalist clinicians begin the conversation around talking and working with sexual function concerns. They will learn basic frameworks and models that can be applied in working with sexual concerns. The presentation will also focus on providing information about the dynamics of common sexual functioning issues that can make these disorders both difficult to receive treatment for and provide rationale for the importance of assessing these issues. Finally, the presentation will also provide space to reflect on the data provided and assess when referrals are and are not needed.
